Dr. Manejwala is a licensed psychologist in the State of Maryland. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland. She also earned a Doctor of Psychology degree from La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she was trained in the cognitive-behavioral approach to treatment.

During her doctoral training, Dr. Manejwala worked in a variety of clinical settings providing individual and group psychotherapy for juvenile offenders, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy for child survivors of sexual abuse, and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for university students. She also provided biofeedback therapy and relaxation training for adults with headache and migraine pain. During her pre-doctoral internship, she provided psychological services for adult sexual offenders. After earning her doctoral degree, Dr. Manejwala received formal training at University of Virginia’s Institute of Law, Psychiatry, and Public Policy in adult forensic evaluation. She then went on to complete a post-doctoral fellowship in forensic psychology where she conducted Competency to Stand Trial and Sanity at the Time of the Offense pre-trial evaluations. Dr. Manejwala is a certified grief counseling specialist as well as a certified child and adolescent trauma professional.

At the Clear View Counseling Center, Dr. Manejwala provides individual therapy for adolescents and adults presenting with symptoms related to generalized anxiety, social anxiety, depression, anger issues, grief and loss, adjustment disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other life issues. Dr. Manejwala also values providing culturally-sensitive treatment for those who wish to discuss their cultural background and/or religious/spiritual beliefs in therapy.
