Dr. Compagnone is a Maryland Licensed psychologist. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, a Master of Arts Degree in Professional Psychology and a Doctor of Psychology from William James College. She received formal training at McLean Hospital Women’s Treatment Program and Klarman Eating Disorders Center, both Harvard teaching facilities. She was affiliated with the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children providing services for children, adolescents, and their families. In addition, she has clinical experience in a variety of settings including residential treatment programs hospital emergency departments, and inpatient units. She completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Sheppard Pratt Health System in the Trauma Disorders Program offering individual and group therapy, psychological assessment, and consultation services for inpatient and outpatient settings, with specialty training in adults with complex trauma. In addition, Dr. Compagnone has advanced training in the provision of mental health services for patients struggling with grief and loss and earned certification as a Grief Counseling Specialist (CGCS) in 2020.
At the Clear View Counseling Center, Dr. Compagnone provides psychotherapy to a small caseload of adolescents and adults presenting with symptoms related to Posttraumatic Stress Disorder, Eating Disorders, gender and sexuality issues, anxiety disorders, and depression. Dr. Compagnone no longer accepts referrals for new patients. Instead she focuses her professional interests in growing the practice, mentorship, supervision of early career clinicians, professional consultation, and community engagement.
