Missed Visit/ Late Cancellation Policy

Due to the high demand for psychotherapy services and the limited availability of appointments, late cancellations (canceling an appointment with less than 24 hours’ notice) and missed visits result in a charge of $75.  This fee cannot be billed to insurance and will be charged immediately following your missed visit.

Initial appointments that result in a late cancellation or no-show may or may not be able to be rescheduled depending on demand and clinician availability.

You must cancel appointments directly with your provider.  You may also use our Patient Portal to cancel and reschedule appointments.  If you cancel through the portal, please confirm your cancellation request with your clinician to ensure she has received the cancellation notice.

Voicemail messages left on the Clear View Counseling Center main phone line and emails sent to info@ClearViewCounselingCenter.com must be individually forwarded to each clinician.  Due to the potential for delays, leaving cancellation requests on our main phone line general email inbox, including responding to automated appointment reminders, is strongly discouraged.  If you choose to leave a cancellation request on the main line, you assume the risk of a late cancellation fee.

Patients who accrue three (3) or more late cancellations/ missed visits may be subject to discharge.
