Olivia Brady is a Student Counseling Intern earning her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at the University of Baltimore, Maryland. Olivia graduated from Towson University with a B.S. in Psychology and went straight into her graduate program. While completing her bachelor’s program, Olivia worked in a service-learning group that helped support students with ADHD on Towson’s campus. In her master’s program, Olivia works as a research assistant and helps students with accessing therapeutic resources they need to thrive.
Olivia has always had a passion for helping others. Her goal is to help individuals feel seen and heard, supporting them through their own healing journey. She believes that healing happens through connection, and her goal is to walk alongside you as you move toward greater clarity, confidence, and self-understanding. She recognizes that therapy is not a “one-size-fits-all” solution, and believes that each session should be shaped by what feels right for you. Her therapeutic approach is integrative and collaborative, combining techniques from different therapeutic models to best suit each client. This may include Person-Centered, Acceptance & Commitment, Family Systems, Emotion Focused, Mindfulness, and Cognitive Behavioral theories.
Olivia strives to create a safe space for clients to feel comfortable. In the past, she has enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and young adults who may be navigating anxiety, ADHD, identity exploration, relationship challenges, life transitions, and so on. Olivia aims to work with you in developing a plan to help ease these overwhelming feelings and achieve your personal goals.
Outside of therapy, Olivia enjoys music, travel, nature, and spending time with friends and family. By integrating both her personal and professional experiences, Olivia hopes to guide her clients through their own journeys, and would love to be there to support yours.
