Phone Consultations

The Clear View Counseling Center values the importance of the provider-client relationship. We acknowledge that psychotherapists are not easily interchangeable and feeling like you’ve found the right fit when it comes to a provider is important. As such, when you reach out to schedule your first appointment with us, we try our best to match you with the best possible provider in terms of the provider’s education and training background, demographics, treatment approach and personality.

Prior to your first appointment, you will undergo a brief (15-20 minute) free phone consultation with your potential new provider. During your phone consultation, you will be asked several basic questions regarding what you are looking to work on in therapy.  This ensures that the provider is the best qualified to treat your needs and it is also your opportunity to assess if the provider is a good fit for you. If, at the end of your call, you think you might benefit from consulting with another available provider, that will be available to you. If you feel comfortable moving forward at that time, your provider will schedule your intake appointment, set you up on our HIPAA-compliant patient portal, and send you the opening paperwork for you to complete prior to your initial appointment.

During your consultation, your provider will also gather your insurance information from you. After the call, your provider will verify your insurance benefits with our billing team and inform you, to the best of our ability, of the costs associated with your treatment.
